Week #4 - Minolta Magic

Minolta Maxxum 7000 - Week #4
"Minolta 7000" - Calumet CC400 4x5 Monorail - FP4+ 125
Week 4 of 52, it came, it was seen, and was conquered by many.  As the week now comes to a close, and I have all the photos ready for upload, you can see how Velvia 100F looks processed in C-41 chemicals.  A process known as "Cross Processing" or X-Pro.
Not sure when X-Pro became popular, but I do know that most labs charge more to do it.  Why?  I am really unsure.
I do know one thing, though, it was easy to do at Wal-Mart.  Just a quick switcheroo of the innards of the film canister from an E6 can to a C-41 can, and presto!  Instant eligibility to drop off at Walmart for standard C-41 processing.  And yes, it really is that easy.
Just gently, and I do mean gently, open the top of each can and flip the contents.
You do, of course, have to do this in complete darkness.

And now, on to the photos from the week.

Until next time, keep those shutters firing!
