What the Future Holds

We are nearing the end of 2013, and soon Christmas will be upon us all, whether you celebrate it or not, it is all around us.
But this post is what the future holds for me, and my photography.  Well, for one, I am planning on more photoshoots for the coming year, whether for myself, or a paid gig.  I have been putting one off again and again, but do have to schedule it, as I will be using my large format 4x5 camera.

In the coming year I have again planned on the 52-roll project.  But, similar to Alex I am thinking of a 52-sheet project instead, as my 4x5 camera really doesn't get used anywhere close to enough.  I need to get it out more and shoot it much more!
Whether I shoot 4x5 IR, 4x5 Colour, B&W, or even paper Negatives.. I need to use it more.

For another idea with it, I have also put in an order for more Polypan F film.  The thing is, I think it is going to get harder and harder to find in the near future, as my supplier has told me that they no longer have any more coming in.

With the new year will come new opportunities, new adventure, and hopefully if Ferrenia keeps their game plan, new films!  My goal is to shoot a roll of Ektachrome EIR and even get a roll of HIE in the new year, mostly to say.. "Yes.. Yes I have shot it!"
I am even interested in trying some triple layer B&W film known as Kodakchrome, and use it as a B&W film, developed in HC-110...
And using a baking soda solution and borax, remove the REMJET backiing.

In 2014 I will continue this idea of the "Year on Film" but I will also try to concentrate on some "Through my Eye" posts.  The major difference between the two is that the Year on Film is specifically for film, while the "Through my Eye" is intended on being a creative approach to photography.

This shall be one of my final posts for 2013, and as the year winds down, it shall become more hectic and busy until the new year.

When I have some time off in the next couple of weeks, I will be making sure to get out and shoot a bit more, and possibly even try my reversal kit!

Until next time, stay tuned as the year isn't quite done yet!

Keep those shutters firing!

    1. Most indeed Walter! I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has to offer in the coming year, and what I can do with my cameras, film or digital!

      Cheers!
