A Touching Moment...

A mother and child can easily create some of the most touching moments you can ever capture.  Whether it is a mother and son after an argument and they make up, or a mother and daughter just spending time together and showing a closeness that cannot be described in words, but when only an image will suffice.

No matter how many times I manage to capture any kind of emotion, it never ceases to amaze me the bond and power of a mother and her child.

This time, without truly intending on doing it, I managed to capture a fleeting moment on some 4x5 film.
After angling the lens to get only the two in focus and try to throw the rest out, I loaded the film, set the shutter and got ready to take the photo at the right moment.

Thankfully I was able to capture it at the right time.. The happiness and pure light of love in the mother's expression truly cannot be described with words, but with an image only.

A photo that I believe is worth a thousand photos...
